Jason’s Journey
Donation protected
I’m Jamie, Jason's sister. Jason (Roney-Fullerton), as some of you may know, on Monday, July 11th, on his way to work, Jason (Roney-Fullerton) was hit head-on in a collision near his home in Latrobe, Pa. He was flown to a trauma hospital in Pittsburgh and rushed to surgery. Jason’s injuries are critical, and many he is on life support as he has been since July 11th. To date, he has undergone 12 surgeries, with more to come. Not including tomorrow, he will have a tracheotomy to hopefully allow him to wake up and ween off the ventilator. The injuries are extensive and are as follows: left side of his body fractures including ribs, all in hand, open bow fracture in the arm. Multiple places in both left tibia, femur, right heel and ankle. Spleen removed also ruptured diaphragm liver lacerations. Jason’s lung collapsed, and they had injuries to the aorta needing heart surgery right away. If this is not critical and there is enough trauma, there is bleeding in the brain. All this has happened fast; surgeries daily, and he’s being treated in Pittsburgh ICU fighting. We know he is going to need help in more than medical treatments. Medical bills will go crazy, the house that needs to run still his beautiful and strong fiancé Jody can’t help him heal and worry about covering his loss of income plus working and being a Mom to two boys on the way to college. We do not know what the future holds. Jason has not been awake for more than a few seconds. As much as we all appreciate your love and thoughts and prayers ❤️ We gotta PROVIDE for him and his family and the future of this long unforeseen Journey. Jody, along with myself and Cheryl (Mom), is there with Jason every day, waiting and watching him and making him fight because we all know that’s what he’s going to do. People asked if I’ve done this yet, so here we are. It’s TIME! Jason is a US Navy veteran and a member of Local Union 373; please donate or share to a page that can Thank You !! I will update progress and other things we plan to do in the next few weeks. We all thank everyone for the texts, calls, and now donating. - Jamie and our family.
