DNS COVID-19 Challenge

For the past several summers, I have had the fantastic opportunity to work at DNS diving. During that time, I have become very close with all members of the team Gareth, Chris, Kalle, Dan, Josh, and Tommy. Sadly because of COVID-19, I will not be able to return this summer to work. DNS is facing tough times with zero tourism to the island and with no definite end in sight. But more importantly, because of COVID-19, the staff isn’t working and needs your support with surviving during this difficult time. Becoming a dive instructor is not something you do to make you rich. But you do it because of the passion for the underwater world and your drive to share it with others.
As happy customers of DNS Diving, you are well aware of the cost of living in Cayman. And how reliant the staff is on clientele tips to cover necessary living expenses. Due to the current restrictions on the island, the Government has closed businesses along with the airport. Even the guys can’t go diving! Seeing as their necessary expenses, such as rent, food, electrical and water still need to be covered, I’ve decided to put together this fundraiser to help the staff so they can stay on the island during this difficult time.
100% of the funds will be divided equally amongst the staff (Gareth, Chris, Kalle, Dan, Josh, and Tommy) to help cover their monthly expenses, which would have usually been funded by their tips. You all know how hard these guys work to keep you safe and make your experience the best it can be while above and under the water. Now, it is time to do what we can to help them!
