My name is Daniel, and I never thought I’d be doing this — asking strangers for help. But I’m at my wits’ end, and I’m turning to the kindness of the internet to try and save my dog, Bella.

Bella is 6 years old, and she’s more than just a pet — she’s part of our family in the most real way. She was born in our home, and after years apart, she found her way back to us when her original owner could no longer care for her. It felt like fate — like she was always meant to be with us. She’s been by my side ever since, full of love, loyalty, and light.

But recently, Bella was hit by a car in a terrible accident. She survived, but she’s badly hurt. She needs X-rays, surgery, and ongoing medical care to recover and walk again. The costs are far beyond what I can manage alone, and it’s breaking my heart to watch her suffer.

Bella’s estimated medical costs are $20,000, which will cover the life-saving care she urgently needs after her near death experience. She has a broken elbow, a fractured pelvis, and a dislocated hip — all of which require complex surgery so she can walk again. In addition to these injuries, Bella has a deep gash on her abdomen and another on her shoulder that need stitching, as well as trauma around one of her eyes. She also needs full-body X-rays and a comprehensive veterinary assessment to identify any internal injuries that aren’t yet visible. This total includes the cost of her surgeries, imaging, emergency treatment, and the long road to recovery that lies ahead. Every bit of support is helping give Bella a second chance at life.
