Morocco Earthquake victims
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Natasha and I created this GoFundMe to help Amina that I met in Morocco in February.
I met her at her work, a cooperative of argan oil that helped divorced women and their families. Amina was so passionate about her job that I rushed to get her Instagram to stay in touch with her with hopes that some day i could contribute with something to help those women. Unfortunately that day came sooner then I expected. As a result of the earthquake, Amina lost some family members and all her belongings. She is currently in the high mountains sleeping outside with a group of people including children and babies. They mostly need tents and covers for the cold for now but I'm hoping we can help them rebuild.
I have Amina's RIB number and as soon as the funds get released i will transfer it to her account so she can go to Marrakesh and buy everything they need.
I asked Amina to write something so everybody would get to know her and the conditions they are in right now:
"My name is Amina from Morocco, I am 28 years old, I live in a small village called Merigha in the High Atlas, I used to work in a women's cooperative to extract argan oil by hand, which is a cooperative for divorced and widowed women to improve their material condition and work with their children , now after the earthquake we live on agricultural crops because our houses fell and we lost a lot of our family and we have no job left and nothing.
We are now living in harsh conditions high in the mountains with the cold, we need blankets and tents, and we need clothes for the cold, especially children, they cannot sleep at night."
I hope I can help Amina and her family, can you help me help them?
Thank you.
