My name is Melissa, I am a single mom to 4 + 1! This was honestly the last thing I wanted to do, ask strangers for their money. But I truly need help, and I am hoping the kindest of strangers see this.

Right now, me and my children are standing on the edge of losing the only place we call home.

I have been doing everything possible to keep my family afloat, but the last few months have been unrelentingly hard. I lost a job. Shortly after, my vehicle broke down—the very thing I rely on to get to work. One setback turned into another, and despite my best efforts, I have run out of time.

I must come up with $8,000 to stop an eviction. If I can’t, me and my children will have nowhere to go.

These are children who deserve stability, safety, and a warm place to sleep at night. I have never stopped fighting for them—even when exhausted, scared, and overwhelmed. I have asked for help only after every other option was exhausted. There is no backup plan. No family I can move in with. No other assistance available in time.
