Drunk Driving is currently the number one cause of death on our roadways and is an issue that will directly impact 2/3s of all Americans. The brothers of the Chi Psi Fraternity and the family and friends of David Newell felt this issue directly when David was tragically taken away from us last fall. In an effort to remember David and fight the issue of drunk driving, the Chi Psi Fraternity has teamed up with Mothers Against Drunk Driving for our annual philanthropy event this year.
David was a member of the Alpha Beta of Chi Psi where he was friends with and admired by all. Donations made in his honor to the Mothers Against Drunk Driving of Columbia will serve his memory and continue his long lasting legacy.
The Chi Psi Fraternity will also be hosting a philanthropy golf event on November 18th at the Spur Northwoods Golf Course.
