Cathy Barri's 50 years at All Souls

Here is the story of an amazing woman named Cathy Barri who has devoted service , unconditional love and loyalty working at All Souls for 50 years. She is a devout catholic who never misses a mass every day before work and when she is off of work. A very loving mother of five, a wonderful grandmother and devoted and sweet friend.
She has been cooking and serving lunch every school day since she started working in the 60's . She has served almost four generations of All Souls School children from kindergarten to 8th grade. She cooks and serves to 270 children a day for 162 days in a school year that equals to 43,740 in meals a year and on this 50th year of work she will be serving her 2,187,000th child at All Souls School. And she does all this with so much love, and compassion , and with a big smile on her face everyday not even complaining of anything and making sure that everyone is taken cared of including teachers, faculties, staffs, custodians and sometimes the priests too!
As a celebration of gratitude and as a way of giving back for all the joy and all the happy and full tummies that she has served we are planning a surprise "50 th year service" party at All Souls Church on Saturday the 30th of January 2016 with entertainment and reception to follow at the church hall. The funds will be used to pay for the special mass at All Souls church on January 30th, the food , use of the Church Hall and also some entertainment with special surprises for Mrs. Cathy Barri and everyone that will attend. We need the funds no later that Jan 8, 2016 , the sooner we secure the funding the sooner we will be able to lock the date, catering and entertainment.
This will be a surprise party ( she has no idea that we are planning this) and it will mean so much to Mrs. Cathy Barri who will be turning 91 years old on Christmas eve 2015. She is the spirit , soul and is an institution to All Souls School in South San Francisco .
We are looking forward to seeing students , friends, coworkers and all the people from the first year she started working at All Souls up till now.
This will be like a reunion and a good way for the our community to get together and say thank you for all of the years that Mrs. Cathy Barri has devoted to / for us .
We are extending our thank you in advance for all the financial help you could give to make this event memorable and special not just for those who will be able to attend but most importantly for our Mrs. Cathy Barri!
