UPDATE: We didn’t just hit our goal we exceeded our goal which not only allows us to pay our late payments but it also allows us to put the rest in savings just in case we ever get into a situation like this again! God is so good and I’m so very thankful that we have our second chance to keep our home and keep our kids happy and safe!

We never imagined we’d be in a position where we had to ask for help, but our family is facing a situation we can’t get through alone.

We have two small children and had been managing our bills until Brock unexpectedly lost his job. I did everything I could to keep us afloat, but despite our best efforts, we began struggling with our mortgage. We finally managed to get caught up on our October payment, thinking we were starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Then on December 10th, everything changed. I suffered a mini stroke (TIA) and have been out of work since. Between medical recovery and lost income, our situation quickly became overwhelming.

We recently received a letter stating that we must make a large payment by February 12th, or our home will go into foreclosure. Brock tried to take out a loan to help us catch up, but he was not approved. At this point, we have exhausted our savings and maxed out our credit card just trying to keep our family stable.

Our home is where our children feel safe. It’s where we’re trying to heal, recover, and rebuild. We are asking for any help at all—whether that’s a donation, sharing this fundraiser, or simply keeping our family in your prayers.
