There is a war between nature and sprawl. Rich developers are on the side of sprawl and you and I are on the side of nature.

We breath oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide, trees breath carbon dioxide and exhale oxygen. Developers want to cut down trees, the very things that give us life, and replace them with buildings that are spaced so far way from each other you need thousands of dollars to get there (car payments, gas, car dependency etc), they then pollute our water with all the excess runoff that's created from all the impervious surface area. As an environmental engineer in SWFL I know that the higher the contaminants the more more disinfectants are needed. When you clean water the results are never perfect. We need to stop creating excess runoff and we need to stop cutting down trees.

We are in a race. They are moving fast. I made a special savings account just for saving money to buy land for reforestation.
