Hello All,
As some of you may know I had a rough November . I've been really racking my brain on whether or not using gofund me for help because I know there are so many people that are worse off then my family, but I am at a lost with what to do.
Last month I was in and out of the hospital. Unfortunately, Lupus won last month causing me to miss a lot of work. And my little Jr. broke his arm to top it all off. The Lupus caused me to form a large painful cycst on my liver and I am in need of a procedure to drain the cycst. Also, due to the rare form of lupus that I have, I need to go back on blood thinners and the stupid insurance doesn't cover the type of blood thinner that I need of course and they aren't covering all of the procedure to remove the cycst . Once I am able to have the procedure done the Dr. said I will miss about a week of work. I don't have any vacation time due to it being a new job. However, not having the funds to get this done I have been missing work because the pain is pretty intense and I can't hold much food down when it really flairs up. So its a catch 22. Once the cycst is removed the Dr said I will start feeling better and hopefully get back to normal life. If you know me you know I love to work and take care of my family. Putting food on the table and a roof over the kids head is the one thing in life that makes the most proud and not being able to do that is frustrating. All in all, I am asking for help. I worked all summer trying to catch up on bills thanks to my amazing aunt and uncles help. Now I don't want to lose my new apartment and car. I've already told the kids no Xmas this year which they are being great troopers and understand. I am not asking for more then what I need to cover the procedure, medicine and rent/bills that have fallen way behind. I'm the only income for my family and they count on me to be healthy. Thank you all for even reading this.
Even with all of this going on and the lupus not being in remission for the first time in a long time I know I am still very blessed for what I have! I know it can always be worse...
I appreciate you, thank you. Jacqueline, Lorelei and Jr.
