Dmytro, Hanna and David are coming to Texas

We are sponsoring a Ukrainian family, Dmytro (41), Hanna (37) and David (6),  through the 'Uniting for Ukraine' program. They will be arriving Austin this Friday, June 10th on a flight from Warsaw.  

 

When they arrive, they will be granted “humanitarian parole,” a legal status that allows them to remain and work in the US for up to 2 years. We are looking to give them a good, strong start here – get them the tools that anyone in their situation would need to have the greatest chance for success: acquire a car + insurance (to get to/from work and school), buy food and clothing, and have access to communication (cell phones). Dmytro works as a civil prosecutor in Ukraine, Hanna is a lawyer, and David is learning English.
