Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
My name is Andrew Minuto, and I'm reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a plea for support as I face an all-too-familiar battle. In 2014, I lost both of my parents to cancer. Their loss left a profound void in my life, but I found the strength to keep going. In 2022, my world was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with stage 3 testicular cancer. I fought hard, depleted the entirety of my financial resources, and was overjoyed to receive a clean bill of health. Unfortunately, in May 2024, I received the devastating news that cancer has returned.
My Journey
The first battle with cancer was arduous. I exhausted my savings, maxed out my insurance, and used every resource available to beat this disease. The past two years were a period of recovery – not just physically, but financially, emotionally, and psychologically. I rebuilt my life, started to feel secure again, and cherished every moment with my daughter. But now, I am faced with another fight against this relentless disease. The costs are overwhelming – hospital admissions, countless tests, procedures, chemotherapy sessions, and appointments with multiple specialists. The ever-increasing cost of living only adds to the burden.
