Help fund a wish for Zachery Michael Burgess, Michigan battling a rare disease. Zach has a wish to be an actor. Help him achieve his dream as the STAR of Documentary, ZACH and MYHRE. This documentary will also help educate the medical community as their are only 51 known cases in the world and loving parents spend years searching for answers to their child's symptoms.
It was only recently after 19 years of searching for answers that the Doctor's at University of Michigan Motts Children Center discovered Zach has an extremely rare MYHRE Syndrome. The discovery was made possible through genetic testing. MYHRE Syndrome is a rare developmental disorder characterized by cognitive deficits, facial dysmorphism, deafness, and distinctive musculoskeletal features. Cardiac manifestations reported to date include patent ductus arteriosus, septal defect, aortic coarctation and pericarditis.
