Hi! Many of you know me, and if you don’t, I’m Brittany! The love of my life, Khalid Muhammad, suffered a severe Ischemic Stroke. He is currently “locked in,” meaning he is fully aware of who I am and what’s going on around him, but he is unable to move from the neck down. He cannot speak due to a tracheotomy and is unable to eat, so he is on a feeding tube. He’s been moved to a specialist hospital in Utah, and currently, he is there alone. Imagine being trapped in your own body and seeing no familiar faces around. I’m asking for your help today so I can go be with him through this long road to recovery.
