Tammy's TBI and Road to Recovery
Donation protected
You never think something bad will ever happen to you or your family. Then, in an instant, life as your know it changes.
On February 16th, 2016, my sister-in-law Tammy Theberge, had an unfortunate fall on the ice, right in her own front yard. This terrible fall resulted in a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), almost taking her life.
In the week following, she faced many life threatening obstacles. With family, friends and co-workers by her side she is showing positive signs of improvement on a daily basis.
As a Registered Nurse for over 30 years, mostly working in the ICU/CCU caring for others, Tammy is now on the other side receiving the special care she normally gives.
She is one of the most loving, gentle, kind, caring and thoughtful people I know. Her husband Russell, children Matt and Beth and her 4 grandchildren are her greatest joys.
With a long road of recovery ahead of her, it would be my hope to ease any stress and show her how much we truly care and love her.
This fund has been established to assist Tammy and her family during the upcoming months while she rehabilitates. We know what a strong woman she has always been. Times like this make me realize what is truly important in life.
With God ALL things are possible. Thoughts and prayers are welcomed and encouraged.
