This is my daughter Alex.

She is currently in a battle with an illness called, Severe gastroparesis this is paralysis of the stomach that causes her to not be able to digest her food. When Alex was able to get down a few bites the food just sat in her stomach and basically rots and Alex gets no nutrients for her body.

At this point She is now unable to eat and hold food down and is unable to hydrate hardly at all .. Amongst many other random issues.

Alex has lost a lot of weight very quickly and is getting weaker by the day.The GI doctor she has gone to provided the diagnosis of, Severe gastroparesis , gastritis, Reflux esophagitis grade A and Hiatal hernia. She will have a follow up with her GI specialist in a few week's. She has been in and out of the ER & Urgent cares for some time now.She has prescriptions some covered some not, the cost of her co-Pays for Dr. visits and her deductible on outpatient procedures,Then we have blood work/testing her insurance doesn’t cover them all and those are adding up quickly.She still gets up everyday and goes to work but the last several weeks without fail she has had to leave and go home. She has no energy from being so severely malnourished and dehydrated, Alex tries to drink anything she can with electrolytes and sodium to at least get some hydration but it comes right back up. We are praying she gets relief from the pain and this sickness in the coming days!
