Ken Burbridge Double Lung Transplant

Ken is a loving husband, father, grandfather, and dear friend. During his years as an ordained pastor, Ken's caring heart ministered to many people. He also enjoyed his time working alongside his brothers and sisters from Local 491 while in the film industry.

Unfortunately, Ken has been battling interstitial lung disease for five years. His interstitial lung disease was first diagnosed in May 2018. Treatment at Duke Health Center of Durham, North Carolina, slowed the progression of this incurable disease for several years. However, the disease began to accelerate over the past 12 to 18 months resulting in the need for continuous supplemental oxygen, limiting physical abilities, and difficulties with worsening symptoms. Sadly, Ken has progressed to the stage where a double lung transplant is his only viable option. It is for this purpose that we ask for your help.
