Support for Family After Tragic Loss

A month ago, my wife went to the hospital with severe pain in her lower abdomen at 23 weeks pregnant. They sent her home, disregarding her pain, which led her back to the hospital the next day in the worst pain of her life. Finding out that her appendix had ruptured and she had a major infection Inside her stomach she was rushed to emergency surgery to get her appendix removed. Shortly after, once she was back in the recovery room, her body went into labor, and our son was born at 23 weeks, on 10/04/24. They tried to save him, rushing him to the NICU. After 6 days, trying to stay alive at 23 weeks, the doctors informed us our son wasn’t going to make it, and on 10/10/24, he took his last breath in my wife’s arms. The first and last time she ever got to hold him.

Due to all this, my wife is currently out of work, leaving me to provide for her and our 3 children. The stress on my family has been mentally draining and financially crippling. Having one income instead of two is hard on me, and it would be hard on you too.

We are reaching out to our family, community, and social media in hopes that we can get some help financially for medical bills, family expenses, and more as we navigate through this hard time and grieving process.
