D'Miyah Jean Shipp

This is D'Miyah Jean Shipp, our Valentine's niece! D'Miyah was rushed to Minneapolis Children's Hospital hours after she joined this world the evening of Valentine's Day. She wasn't getting enough oxygen which was the start of many complications—one of those complications being diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension. There was a struggle to find a hospital that evening due to a storm. No flights to or from Lakes Regional Healthcare. The doctors and nurses worked tirelessly together and managed to get D'Miyah to Minneapolis by road. Dad met her up there the next morning after getting her three older sisters situated at school and with grandpa. Mom was still in the hospital recovering from the birth but made it to Minneapolis a couple of days later. D'Miyah has a very long road ahead of her but she has so many people who love her and that are praying for her. Mom and dad have a lot of traveling back and forth from Milford to Minneapolis, medical bills, hotel rooms....the list goes on.
