Lort Smith Animal Hospital!

Hi, my name is Astrid, and for my Year 9 Expo project, I have chosen to make dog treats. Along with these treats, I am giving people a choice to donate to Lort Smith. Lort Smith is a not-for-profit animal hospital and rescue space in Melbourne that provides affordable animal care and rescues animals from unsafe situations. We rescued my dog Mala from Pet's Haven after she had been thrown out of a car as a puppy and received trauma to her legs and back from the fall. A couple of years ago, Mala slipped, and the AC ligament in her knee (that was already damaged from the accident as a puppy) ripped, meaning she could no longer walk. Thanks to Lort Smith, Mala had affordable and successful surgery, and now she has her quality of life back again! I hope to raise some money to say an extra 'thank you' to Lort Smith for helping one of the most remarkable beings in my life.
