Help Cover Medical Bills

Hello everyone,

My mom, Cheryl Martinez, was recently diagnosed with a form of skin cancer known as Merkel Cell Carcinoma. This specific type of cancer is extremely aggressive and requires extensive tests/scans to be done frequently because it's so rarely seen by doctors. We have been instructed to see multiple doctors including oncologists and dermatologists just within the past two months of the diagnosis. As you can imagine, our medical bills have been piling up quickly. Being a single mother with a paraprofessionals income doesn't leave a lot of room for extra spending money. I'm working a full time management position but it still isn't enough for rent, standard bills, necessary household items, and now medical bills. On August 23rd, I will be returning to Regis University to continue as a full time student. This complicates our financial situation even further because I won't be able to work as many hours as I am now. We are now at a point where asking friends and family for help is a must. Any kind of financial help is appreciated even if it's only a couple dollars at a time. We understand, however, if some aren't able to help in this way.
