DMA Flood Relief DIRECTLY to Kerala

Detroit Malayalee Association (DMA)  the most supportive and active association in Michigan is raising funds with a goal of collecting $100,000 to help the grief-stricken victims of the Kerala Floods.  As we complete our 1st Phase and enter our 2nd Phase we have with YOUR support been able to help  624 families so far, many of them through our own volunteers, Detroit Malayalee Association is doing this fundraiser for the current phase of providing relief and  next phase of rebuilding Kerala and helping its victims.
We have completed or currently in the process of doing 8 projects so far, from supporting livelihood for hard-hit victims, to building shelters for school children who became homeless and ravaged by the floods. There are a long list of projects that our team is currently reviewing and will be kicking off as we complete the due diligence process.

DMA, after helping 624+ families in 1st phase is currently working with teams on the ground in Kerala in multiple districts to provide relief material and assistance to the flood ravaged victims. Please visit www.dmausa.org for more details.

This has been the worst floods in the last century that brought the whole state to a stand-still.
As the death tolls increase every day, the latest count has more than 400+ people killed and around 800,000 displaced according to Indian officials due to heavy monsoons, landslides and overflowing reservoirs. 314,000 people, including women, toddlers and senior citizens have been lodged in various relief camps across 14 districts in the state. The financial destruction is estimated at over $2.7 billion so far.
We sincerely request your help in this cause to help our brothers and sisters get back on their feet.
