Help Osito Get Life-Saving Surgery

I rescued Osito through Animal Rescue of the Rockies in July of 2023. At that time, he was healthy as far as I knew. A year later, he was diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus and has been on insulin and a prescription diet. He has had myriad vet appointments to get his diabetes under control, and now he needs surgery as he swallowed an object that is stuck in his intestine and there is no way for it to be scoped out, so surgery is inevitable.

I was laid off from work at the end of January and I have spent a lot of money on Osito's care. The vet clinic he goes to is wonderful and they have offered to do the procedure at a deep discount of $1,500, but that is still quite a lot for me given my current circumstances. Any amount would greatly help and be deeply appreciated. All of it will go towards his surgery.

In case you're wondering what he swallowed: Osito has, at times, had to wear a glucose monitor to see how he's responding to his insulin and managed to scratch one off and eat it. There's a lithium battery inside of it which will make him very sick if not removed ASAP. Thank you so much for your help.
