Tim (aka: 'Bod') Grant, our old Highland Falls friend and neighbor, who I'm sure many remember as a musician / bass guitarist who played in local bands in and around our hometown area prior to moving away, has unfortunately lost EVERYTHING he owned, including his companion cat 'Pinky', in a tragic fire in Fayetteville N.C.

Tim just made it out of the building barefoot and literally, with only the clothes he was wearing. Officials rushed to his door and told him to 'Get out immediately' as the floor was about to collapse under him. He was told that there was no time for him to even grab his shoes let alone look for 'Pinky', who was sadly lost in the blaze.

This fire spread quick, floor to ceiling, right up through the roof, a total loss of everything.

Now this man needs our help. To this end I've started a 'GoFundMe' account for him, with a goal of raising $8,000. so he can begin to put his life back together.

I know we can meet this number so please contribute what you can.

*I've been advised from people who have experience with 'GFM' to ask each of you reading this to please feel free to share this on your own personal Facebook page too, as apparently this really helps.

Also, I don't know about anyone else, but most of my charitable donations have gone to people who I do not know, people I've never met. It occurs to me that helping someone I do or have known, can not only be very helpful to the person in need, but a rewarding experience for us, the donors, as well.
