DLS St Stephens BNS Outdoor Classroom Development in Garden
Donation protected
Hi Everyone,
We have a wonderful school with 18 mainstream classes, an autism class and a current enrolment of 375 children and have been serving our local community since 1897.
Two years ago we were delighted to open our new extension providing 4 additional mainstream classrooms.
We have a secret garden area at the side of the school that was gifted to us by the De La Salle brothers and with your help we would like to extend and develop this area to create an outdoor classroom. Taking learning outside the classroom has many benefits.
- It improves children and teacher mental health and wellbeing.
- It provides health benefits and increases physical activity.
- Learning outside naturally encourages creativity, problem solving and teamwork.
This is the most ambitious fundraising project ever undertaken in the school.
The money raised will be used to directly support the development of the area so that our children have an outdoor space to learn.
Your kindness and generosity will mean so much to us and have such a positive impact on the current and future children of our school.
Please feel free to share this fundraiser with past pupils and parents, future parents, family and friends so we can further our reach.
Many thanks, The Parents Association of St Stephens BNS
