Evan's Journey

In July 2014, Evan ...was diagnosed with liver cancer after a CT scan resulting from a back injury showed a large tumor on his liver. The team treating him at OSU/James has determined the only cure will be a liver donor transplant. Due to the severity of his condition, he is not eligible to go on the typical donor waiting list. On August 14th, Evan had his first TACE procedure which will hopefully begin shrinking the tumor...he will have follow up procedures every 4-6 weeks, depending on how his body/liver tolerates this highly concentrated chemo.
