Amanda's Fight Against Cancer

My best friend has been recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Epithelioid Hemangioendothelioma.  A cancer so rare it only  affects 20-30 people a year in the US, and only few doctors in California have treated.   She is married to Scott, and has a 3 year old son, Jack, who is her world!   Determined to get her the best possible care, Scott  has done tons of research looking for an oncologist that specializes in treating this type of cancer.  No Kaiser oncologists in Southern California have had experience in treating this disease, and unfortunately there are limitations on who she can see due to her insurance.   Rarely does Kaiser refer out of network and still cover the costs.   Because of this, Amanda will have to seek consultations and treatment outside of the Kaiser network, and doing so brings a tremendous amount of out of pocket expense.  Amanda has also had to stop working due to the extreme amount of pain she is in daily.    Please help Amanda and her family seek the expertise she deserves to beat this!  Any amount of support and prayer is greatly appreciated.
