Samantha's Medical Expenses

Hi my name is Lisa League and I am starting a Go Fund me page for my daughter in law Samantha Shaw.  I believe God will provide but sometimes we have to ask for help from others.  Life in itself right now is very stressful for Samantha & Mike. Mike is still recovering from an auto accident from over a year ago and still unable to work. Sam has been the sole provider for over a year now and they have struggled since.  Recently things came to a screeching halt for them, because Sam was diagnosed with Stage 2 cervical cancer and has to undergo 5.5 weeks of daily radiation, weekly chemotherapy, labs, surgery, PET scans and numerous doctor appointments. The hospital that she has to go to is almost an hour away.  With the increased gas prices and one pay check, this adds an additional expense that they cannot afford.  Sam does have insurance but she’s required to pay a sizable deductible which there again, is an expense incurred that they can’t afford.  They have 4 children which all require clothes, food, medical and dental expenses and unfortunately some things have been put on the back burner right now. 

Sam is a very hard worker and isn’t looking for a handout as she is a very proud woman but sometimes, we just have to let others help, which is why I am writing this Go Fund Me page to hopefully help relieve them of the financial burdens they are incurring.
