Our friend and neighbor, Chittakone “Alan” Phetsadakone, is currently being detained by ICE and faces the devastating threat of deportation. We need your urgent help to keep his family together.

Alan has lived in Seattle since he was two years old, when he arrived as a refugee from Laos. This is the only home he has ever known. He's built a beautiful life here with his wife of 26 years, Cheryl, and their three children.

Many years ago, as a teenager, Alan committed a non-violent offense for which he has taken full responsibility and long since served his time. But despite being a model citizen and attending annual ICE check-ins for 24 years, he was unexpectedly detained at his check-in in July.

Now, he faces being sent to a country he has no memory of, or even a third country completely unknown to him, where he has no family, no support, and no future. This would be a devastating blow to his wife and three children, who rely on him not just for financial support, but for the love and guidance he provides every day.

To lose Alan would be an unimaginable injustice. We are raising funds to fight for him and support his family through this crisis. Your donation will go directly to:
