Hi, you might know me as Vesturo, Vee or that dumb catdogthing, and I never thought I’d be writing something like this.

A few days ago, my bank account suddenly stopped working. At first, I thought it was just a technical issue. But after looking into it, I found out the truth: the city council has seized my account because of unpaid debt that slipped trough the cracks. Right now, I owe about €2,500, and until that is fully paid, I won’t have access to my account again.

That means I can’t use my own money to pay rent, bills, or even basic living costs. I’m suddenly facing the very real possibility of becoming homeless.

This situation is terrifying, and honestly, it’s overwhelming. I’ve been trying to keep my head above water, but the truth is, I fell behind on paperwork and let things pile up. It was my mistake not to stay on top of it, and now the consequences feel impossible to handle on my own. I never imagined one mistake could spiral into something this severe.

I’m not someone who finds it easy to ask for help. I’ve always tried to figure things out myself, but this time, I can’t. I’m scared of losing my home and everything I’ve managed to build for myself. That’s why I’m turning to this community, even though it feels vulnerable and a little embarrassing.

My immediate goal is to raise 900€ to cover my costs of living for this month to avoid becoming homeless. The next steps would be an additional 2500€ so I can clear this debt, unlock my bank account, and keep a roof over my head. Anything beyond that will help me cover groceries, bills, and basic living costs while I get back on track. I will update this Campaign with what money is used for to stay transparent.

If you’ve ever been in a place where life knocked you down harder than you expected, you know how much it means when someone reaches out a hand. That’s what I’m hoping for now.
