On October 14th, around 2:00am, my son Derek passed away peacefully in his sleep. He had been struggling with some medical issues, but his passing was unexpected. I have been out of work recently due to health problems of my own. We want Derek to be remembered for the loving, thoughtful son he was. Derek was a son, a brother, and an Uncle, with family in Buffalo, NY and in Schenectady, NY. We want to be able to have memorials for both of Derek’s families. I will have to travel from Georgia , to NYC, make a stop in Schenectady, and to Buffalo. Your donations will cover travel expenses and funeral expenses. I just got through finalizing every with the funeral home. They have been amazing and extremely patient with me. Derek’s birth family and our family have been remembering all of the good times with Derek. Sure we had difficulties and struggles, but when it comes down to it Derek was loved by many people. While you are praying, please remember the good times, the funny times, and all of the time spent with Derek. His family and friends will truly miss his sense of humor, his laugh, his smile, and his kindness. Thank you again for remembering this special soul.
