DeKalb County police officers were ambushed while responding to a domestic call at a home when they were immediately fired upon by someone hiding between two homes. DeKalb County Police Officer Derek Nunn was shot multiple times by the suspect.

Officer Nunn has been with the DeKalb County Police Department for almost two years.
