Joel Vasquez
Donation protected
This Go-Fund-Me was created for the family of Joel Vasquez, whose sudden and tragic death has greatly affected all those who loved him. Joel's community of close friends are working together to help raise funds for Joel's funeral expenses, so his family doesn't have to face a financial challenge while grieving with such heavy hearts.
Those who knew Joel, be it family, friend, co-worker, employee, or that one guy at the hang-out with the distinctly deep voice and knack for making everyone laugh, often admired his laid back yet confident personality. He was a friend to all, and still never hesitated to stand up for others and himself when he felt it necessary. He was loyal to those he loved and cared for, and set an example of being loyal to oneself, which can prove to be a difficult task at times. Joel had a good heart and kind soul, and felt closest to his creator in nature.
Before his passing Joel was working hard to build his future, doing the necessary work on himself and establishing himself in the world. He enjoyed the company of his uncle, other close family and friends, and he loved his two cats, Little Dudes and Figaro, and found solace in their companionship. Who would have guessed Joel was a cat guy? He also deeply loved his family, especially his uncle and siblings, always had a desire to protect and support them.
As the creator of this fundraiser, I want to express how proud I have been of the path Joel was on and progress he was making since his return to Las Cruces. I am profoundly saddened and disappointed that his life was cut so short and that we will no longer be able to witness the man he was becoming. He deserved a long, happy, and successful life. May we appreciate and honor the impact he made on those who loved him, for "a heart is not measured by how much we love, but by how much we are loved by others."
We thank you in advance for any donation given (a share counts even if nothing but condolences can be given), we wish to come together in assisting his family during this sudden time of grief.
