Blake Hansen Foundation

Welcome to the Blake Hansen Foundation. This Foundation has been created by the Hansen family in honor and remembrance of Blake Ray Hansen. (May 2, 2001 - February 9, 2024) Blake is an outstanding young man, and as many of you know, he was taken from this life far too soon. However with much excitement, the Hansen family is announcing an opportunity in honoring Blake’s legacy and passion for aviation in this new Scholarship Foundation nearly 1 year later. Blake was stubborn and dedicated to his dream of becoming a pilot. He was successful through his early years of schooling, with strong wits, and motivation to spend his days flying helicopters. Blake eventually ended up at Southern Utah University excelling in his aviation education, and graduating with his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Aerospace/Aviation at the impressive young age of 21. He quickly secured a career in California where he would spend everyday flying helicopters over the state of Southern California for the remainder of his time here on Earth.

Beyond his love for aviation. Blake was a hilarious, and loving Son, Brother, and Uncle. Blake had many friends who adored him. He put many people before himself. His presence in this life is and always will be missed. We are thrilled to provide these funds as an annual aviation scholarship, to remember Blake’s dedication to doing what he loved to do most.

Your donations will be held, and this foundation will always be open, to donations for as long as the Blake Hansen Foundation is active.
