Help Ash who is housebound get an accessible van

Summer 2018 my hips/knees were fused and I couldn’t sit in a seat in my brothers van .. I had to lay on the floorboard I’m at the point in my FOP life that it has now become necessary to put it out there that I am in a great need of the wheelchair accessible van .. I asked financial help by way of gofundme you all were so generous to help me raise $10,000 for a van .. I placed in savings until I could find one in a price range my parents could contribute to as well, because my parents are in their 70s and retired putting $40,000 plus to help me just isn’t something I could expect .. so I am hopeful and have been encouraged by many that this might be a good time to once again try to raise $60,000 in order to afford an $80,000 wheelchair accessible van .. My life and body have changed completely since my last gofundme challenge .. I am pretty much bedridden until my powerchair will be ready .. Another expense my parents and I have to consider after completion as it requires many extras on it to accommodate my one arm and body position, etc .. I have lost complete mobility as both legs are frozen into a sitting position and I require assistance when turning over, being moved from bed to wheelchair .. I am literally in a frozen position as you would imagine a statue in appearance .. My eyes, jaws, elbow, and wrist are all that’s moving .. I’ve been housebound for around year .. Depression got me this year, in excruciating pain like no other .. Doctor visits virtually for evaluation to secure pain meds .. For the first time ever I was refusing visits from friends as it became apparent I needed to get out and enjoy my life as a human being .. I’m posting this in hopes this can be helpful in securing the funds needed to bring my life back and get me off my bed .. Just going to lunch with you all like we used to would be amazing !! It has been impossible to get into either of my parents cars thanks to my fused legs and back .. We rent a wheelchair accessible van when we wish to go somewhere as a family and the cost each time is around $1,500 for the week .. Please help me to stop feeling this feeling of isolation not only in my body but in my home .. I need this desperately And I’m not one to ask for help as I’m usually the one to help others ! It has now become a reality and the clock is ticking as my disease progresses for me each week/month .. Please help and then let’s do lunch !!

I have battled Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva (FOP) since the age of three .. I was misdiagnosed on my third birthday, resulting in the amputation of my right arm/shoulder .. FOP is the rarest, most disabling genetic condition known to medicine. It causes muscles, tendons, and ligaments to turn to bone .. Bridges of extra bone develop across joints, progressively restricting movement and forming a second skeleton that imprisons the body in bone .. Today there are about 1,000+ known FOP patients worldwide and I'm the only amputee because of a catastroph misdiagnosis .. I live with my parents who are 76, they should be enjoying retired life ... me being a statue isn’t easy on them .. I have been housebound for 10 weeks, it’s November 16th .. I’m 40 years old and live with parents .. My mom is my full time carer ..
