On August 14, 2021, Haiti was devastated by a 7.2 magnitude earthquake affecting the southern part of the country. To date, more than 2,207 people have been pronounced dead, over 12,268 injured, more than 50,000 people left homeless, more than 52,953 houses destroyed, and more than  77,000 structurally damaged. The small town of L'asile (my hometown), in particular, stands at 50 deaths, over 500 injured, 2,100 homes destroyed, and more than 2,600 families homeless (updated 8.25.21)

To make matters worst, Haiti is in the path of tropical storm Grace which hit Haiti today. The people are in dire need of shelter. The Decady Foundation counts on you to make a small donation to help alleviate the pain that the residents of L'asile are facing during this extremely difficult and uncertain time. We ask that you please consider the needs of others and make a donation big or small to help bring some light to my fellow Haitians during this very dark time.
