Norris Family's Cancer Journey
Donation protected
For anyone who knows any member of the Norris family, you know that they are the epitome of the term “good people” Any of them would be the first to drop everything to help a friend or family member. They are a perfect example of “the hands and feet of Jesus.” Well, now it is out turn……
On January 28, 2023, Rick is diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. He has undergone 10 chemo treatments so far, with the next one being scheduled for Nov. 24th. These treatments will continue until they are too much for Rick’s body. They are basically helping to prolong his life. Rick has had multiple hospital stays for a variety of reason. The last one, September 22nd, lasted for 2 weeks. He had to be brought back with a defibrillator. He has had many potassium drips, due to his potassium dropping.
On July 1st, Rick stopped working. Unfortunately, he also lost his insurance coverage at that time.
During the month of September, he had to place his dad in hospice, and after a short time lost him on September 15th. Rick also misses working with the deaf community and the deaf children in the school systems.
With Rick not working, the Norris family is relying on Lisa’s income to help cover medical and living costs, etc. We would love to help them offset some of those cost so they can use their time to focus on spending time with each other instead of costs that may be accruing. Please consider a donation to this WONDERFUL family! Let’s show them how much they mean to all of us.
