Hey All!

Let me paint a picture for you how wonderful this family is & why this is important to me. They have a true servant's spirit.  Leslie and her little sister Mia showed up with homecooked meals (that her mother had prepared-SUPER YUMMY enchiladas) right after my son Cal was born. Leslie and Mia took care of my colicy baby (All mom's know that postpartum period can be rough!) They also did all of my dishes and cleaned my house--without being asked and despite me begging them not to.

Jon Paul just graduated with his bachelors degree and is pursuing his masters so he is away at college. Mr. Lopez is the friendliest, most selfless individual. When Cal hurt his arm during my brother's wedding  (broke his arm-Ahh!), Leslie's dad Facetimed with us to help give us an idea as to the severity of the injury. Leslie and her Dad are both in the medical profession. The entire family is genuine, helpful, and friendly. They have been a huge blessing to everyone who knows them.

The reason for this Gofundme is due to the Lopez family falling on hard times. They have had a series of unfortunate events that have occurred over the past year.

The family has several expenses to pay off due to attorney fee's and temporary loss of employment. THe family is doing what they can to make up for the loss of employment, but they need a little help.

Please consider donating to this family. They are angels in disguise!

When I think of this family, I think of how they have given and given of their time, energy and resources to the people in their lives. This scripture about sums it up..

Matthew 25:35-40 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’

Thanks for considering! :o)
