I am starting another GoFundMe for my good friend, Bill Olsen. He and his family need our help.

Most of you know that Bill was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) December 15, 2020. He was blessed with a donor who graciously volunteered to give Bill the opportunity of a stem cell transplant on May 3, 2021.

Now, just shy of his 3 year anniversary, his AML has represented itself and his treatments are starting immediately. An AML relapse is very difficult to treat without high risk. He is a candidate for a clinical trial drug in addition to very intense rounds of chemotherapy followed by a stem cell infusion. The side effects will be extreme and he will be in and out of NW Memorial hospital in Chicago for at least 4 months.

Bill will be unable to return to work indefinitely and the financial, emotional, and physical strain on his family will be overwhelming.
