I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma on Sept. 1, 2009. I've been battling ever since. Now, I don't qualify for any experimental medication because my platelet count is zero. I'm getting 2 units of Red Blood Cells and 1 unit of Platelets twice a week. They're keeping my alive but I don't know how long it will last. With zero platelets, I'm susceptible to spontaneous internal bleeds that can end my fight at any time. I've not been able to work with any consistency. My daughter is going to The University of Arizona in September. That's the cost of one year there. Thank you for your support.
