Hello! My name is Dakota (DJ) and I am a 28 year old trans man. Since I started living my truth back in 2017, I did everything I could to save for top surgery. Over the past few years, life has sent me on a wild journey that has made receiving top surgery was just not in the cards. Over the past 12 months I have struggled with homelessness and had a major surgery in February to help with a very scary illness I am still recovering from. I am finally in a stable housing situation and after speaking to 7+ doctors, I am so excited to say I am scheduled for surgery in October!

I am doing all I can to pay for this surgery myself: selling art, hosting a yard sale, donations, selling shirts and other clothing items, etc. I am asking for help—via sharing on your social media platforms, donations here or via my linktree, or even buying a hoodie for the upcoming fall season!

there is so much more to say, but mostly I just want to say, thank you. Thank you to everyone who has helped me stay earth side for the past years, especially this year with housing and food and clothing…I am so much closer to my dreams because of my community.
