Hello, my name is Gisel Velazquez Mojica for those who don’t know, my son Angel(Junior/juju) was admitted to Nemours Childrens Hospital Wednesday night due to seizure activity. My son has been through so much that his little body can’t take anymore. We come to find out that his medical condition (frrs1l gene) is progressing and is getting worse. Junior has not stopped seizing. Thursday morning Junior had an hour and twenty minute seizure nonstop, drs gave him multiple loading doses of seizure medication but his brain wouldn’t respond to them until neurologist decided it was best to put him in a medically induced coma to give his brain rest. I ask for help from the community, family, friends, to donate so I can continue to travel back and forth from Melbourne to Orlando and vise versa so that I can be with my baby everyday. Also to help with medical bills that Medicaid is deciding to only pay a portion for and so much more. Having four girls that aren’t allowed to stay with me in icu keeps me from being with my baby. So even including hotel stays just so they can spend a little time with their brother during the day. I’m so over whelmed and very sadden that this is happening all over again. We believed that he was getting better but results from different drs are so much different than we expected. We don’t know when our baby is coming home, and that’s all we want. For our baby to get better and be home. For those who aren’t able to donate all I ask is for prayers please please please. He’s are only son out of five. My son is my life as my girls are but my son and I are so close for those who knows us knows. We don’t know what the next steps are what will bring so please pray for my baby boy.
