Pumpkin is a beautiful 4-year-old girl who was sadly abandoned earlier in her life. Thankfully, she was given a second chance when Lauren and Matt welcomed her into their home and gave her the loving family she deserved.
Pumpkin has already faced more challenges than most dogs ever should. After being rescued, she became seriously ill with meningitis and had to go through a long and difficult recovery and also suffered a fractured foot, which she bravely recovered from as well. Despite everything life has thrown at her, Pumpkin has always been a fighter.
Tragically, Pumpkin has now been diagnosed with tetanus and is currently in the doggy Intensive Care Unit. She is expected to need 1–3 weeks of intensive treatment, and the veterinary costs are rising quickly. The total cost of her care is expected to be at least £12,000.
While insurance will cover £7,000, Lauren and Matt must find the remaining amount themselves. At the moment, Lauren is on maternity leave, so finances are already tight without this devastating and unexpected situation.
Pumpkin means the world to her family. They are doing everything they can to give her the chance she deserves to recover and come home to the people who love her most — her mum and dad, doggy sister Nola, and her new little baby sister Evie who is waiting for Pumpkin to come home for cuddles.
Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world and help Pumpkin continue receiving the life-saving care she needs.
Thank you so much for your kindness, support, and for helping Pumpkin get back home where she belongs. ❤️
