Sam Phillips Emergency Move

Hello, our names are Kenna James, Tera Patrick, and Alexus Winston, and we are Penthouse Pets. We are fundraising for our dear friend and mother-like figure, Sam Phillips, a former Pet herself turned photo editor for Penthouse Magazine, who needs emergency relief to move from a house of horrors.

Sam was recently notified by her landlord she had to move from the house she’s lived in for 5 years so he could start construction. Sam has been renting out her bedrooms to Penthouse Pets and models who come to LA to work because they live out of town. There are many models who rely on Sam for a safe and healthy environment to stay in. Sam and her cats are family, and her house is all of our home away from home.

At the last minute on Jan 15th Sam moved into what she thought was a good house to relocate her cats and models to but has since found mold and black mold in several areas of the 3400 sq ft. home. The list of broken, not working items leading to the uninhabitability of the property is quite long. Of most importance, there are strong odors emanating from various parts of the home. There are many more issues which became apparent once Sam moved in which she documented on her Move-In Inspection form and photos that we are attaching here.

The owners never disclosed to Sam there had been a catastrophic flood in the home during Covid when the house was vacant for several months and they came home to find it flooded and raining from the ceiling of the first floor. They also never disclosed the construction needed inside the home last year due to the California floods in 2023. Sam found this out from her new neighbors.

Sam spent her savings and has exhausted and depleted her funds on this move and needs emergency donations to help relocate her now. We are asking for help with donations, moving expenses, and most of all prayers to get Sam and her fur babies moved and transitioned to a new safe location.
