Hi, my name is Nathan Beninger, and I am launching this GoFundMe campaign to assist Cody De Witt and his family with their urgent medical bills and expenses. On Tuesday, June 17th, my very good friend Cody had a severe heart attack. He is currently in a Coma and is on life support. Cody's amazing wife, Danitza, is going with Cody to receive a life-saving heart surgery, and the costs are adding up quickly.

Cody and Danitza are like family to me. These two individuals are among the most selfless people I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with. They dedicate their lives to helping others in need. When my family and I moved back to Canada from Peru, Cody and Danitza stepped up and took over the shelter my wife and I had started in 2009 for the young women of Peru. If that wasn't enough, for the past three years, Cody has been raising money and building a greenhouse that would bring support to many Peruvian families struggling with food insecurity. They have always prioritized the well-being of others above their own.

I am pleading with the people I know and the community around me to help Cody in his time of need, so he can return to his wife and 2-year-old daughter without having to stress about the enormous costs facing this beautiful and amazing family.
