Sunday Creek Sanctuary is a 6 acre small farm in Athens County, OH that offers land access, learning opportunities and rest/creative retreat space for BIPOCLGBTQ+ farmers. We have dairy goats, chickens, a small orchard, and gardens. We grow food and medicine for our guests, neighbors, and community.
In 2021 we installed a 50ft hoop house on the farm to extend our growing season and expand our growing capacity, we built a solar dehydrator, raised beds, and a latrine for the bunkhouse. We improved our outdoor goat area and our chicken coop, and welcomed another set of baby goats in July. We hosted a work weekend, a workshop, and a barn show with local musicians. We hosted 12 amazing WWOOFers, most of whom stayed with us for at least a month.
2022 is shaping up to be a busy year, and we are so excited to share our progress with you all. We are planning a workshop series, a documentary, and much more! Thank you for following along on our journey, and for your support!
