I will be joining MedGlobal’s November medical mission trip to Bo, Sierra Leone where we will be providing much needed medical and surgical services. Sierra Leone is one of the poorest countries in the world and one of 3 African countries to suffer one of the worst recorded Ebola outbreaks in recent years. In addition to limited access to and delivery of primary health care, in 2014, Sierra Leone recorded one of the world’s highest rates of infant and maternal mortality, with 89 per 1,000 live births and 857 per 100,000 births, respectively. These poor health outcomes are reflective of the country’s severe shortage of health workers. Please donate generously so that we may provIde health education and lifesaving emergency medical and surgical interventions including
