Hello world, my name is Maurice Michael Smith III. I'm a 15yr old sophomore at Mt. St. Joseph Prepatory School and I've been diagnosed with stage 2 B-cell Non-Hodgkins Disease Lymphoma. This is a very unfamiliar & uncomfortable place for my family & I but we trust and believe that my story will have a masterpiece finish.
I recently conquered my first treatment of chemotherapy and as a result of your many prayers I've experience minimal effects. The challenge that my family & I face from receiving the medication is my immune system is weaken so severely that I have to receive another cancer treatment drug that helps to boosts my red & white blood cells. This particular medication is very much needed to ensure quality of life for me. My treatment plan is rigorous and requires me to be hospitalized for 6 days at a time on a 21 day cycle for the next 6 months. This medication is needed at every treatment at a cost of 5500.00 each.
