On August 4, 2025, Brandon was finally able to put his newly purchased car on the road after saving for a long time. It was one step in building some stability and independence for himself. He worked hard to accomplish that and went without other things. That night, he went to dog sit.
On August 5, 2025, while he was not there, his camper and car in Troy caught on fire and were destroyed. He lost not only his home but his vehicle and all his belongings. He has been provided some help to get the basics (couple change of clothes and toiletries). Brandon also has a temporary place to stay... but it is temporary and he wants and needs to be independent as soon as he can.
I am asking anyone that is able to donate to support Brandon as he attempts to rebuild his life, literally from rubble. He shows up to work for all his shifts at the Depot in Unity. Although he is introverted, he does his best to be friendly and kind to his customers (this is the only way I know him). Whether he is a neighbor, friend, stranger or just the guy at the Depot that waits on you, he needs your help.
Even if you can only donate a little, a bunch of littles can add up. I hope you will consider joining my family in helping Brandon get back on his feet. I (and certainly Brandon) would appreciate your consideration.
