Django's Legacy: Support Fox Valley Humane Association

UPDATE: We're bringing this fundraiser to a close and would like to thank everyone for their donations. Your donations have meant the world to us and to the animals at Fox Valley Humane Association. We cannot thank you enough for helping us honor him. Not a day goes by that we don't think about him but knowing we were able to do this in his memory warms our hearts when we need it most.

Through your contributions, we were able to bring in $140 to FVHA. On Friday we also made a donation of $200 that SECURA will match through their matching gift program, bringing the total funds raised to $540. We've asked that funds be directed towards the foster program so FVHA can continue this wonderful program, care for the pets that need it, and support the foster families for their dedication to these animals.

As many of you know, we recently lost our kitty, Django. He was just shy of his 12th birthday. We are starting this Go Fund Me in his honor as a way to thank Fox Valley Humane Association for all that they do. If it wasn't for them and the foster program that they have, Django may not have been safely surrendered to them, allowing us to meet him and fall in love with him. We will run this until what would have been his birthday, October 6th. We will also be making our own donation on that day as well that Parker's employer will match for us. With our donation, Django's memory will live on with a plaque inside of one of the visitation rooms at FVHA. If you can find it in your hearts to please donate to this wonderful shelter, we will be forever grateful. We miss him terribly, but we thought that this would help turn sorrow into more joy, allowing more pets to find forever homes.
